I have a bt-99. I like it almost as much as the Perazzi.

I have had an old BT-99 beaver tail, a BT-99 Plus, a Max, and the 100. I now have a 90-T and will never have another Browning shotgun. The Remington is built like a tank and it is made in Racine WI in the USA! Service by Kolar is super and quick. It took Browning 12 weeks to fix my 100 that they made a mistake on and when I got it back, the forearm was scratched, another 5 weeks! I had nothing but trouble with the 100 as many other trapshooters have had, go with the 90-T and be happy. There are several options on the 90-T, high rib, low rib, 34 or 32" barrels, release or pull triggers and many stock options. Go to trapshooters.com and do a search for more information.

something about the word fake i never liked. fake sideplates are on the remington 90. if they dont work or do anything, it just becomes a marketing ploy; and, why in the world did they use straight slot screws on such an expensive gun for? geeesh. im going to have to go with the bt-100/99 type guns.

The are not fake, they are real sideplates enabling you to get to the inner workings of the receiver, firing pin, etc. These sideplates also add the option of "changable customizing" to the shotgun. Many 90-T users have several sets of side plates. Have you ever been on the inside of a 99 or 100? I have done many and it is a real treat! Thanks but I will shoot my 90-T over a 100 anytime and when and if I need service it goes and comes from Kolar in a VERY short time, unlike Browning in Missouri.

its been years since i won mine and sold it. whats there to change behind there? THIS IS INTERESTING. maybe i got the wrong gun again. i had a new remington o&u! i think it had the false plates. on the bt's, we never needed to go into our bt-99's on the range. they just fell apart after 20 years from so much shooting.

Only twenty years out of a Browning? They are just getting broke in at that age. They should outlast the buyer and the buyer's heir.
