what to do about rust?

anyone got any good tips for storing guns without them rusting?? thanks for the help TIM

  If you have a gun safe or an enclosed cabinet, put a Goldenrod dehumidifier, or even a 40 watt lightbulb inside. Drill a small hole to run the electric cord through and then wire the plug back on. The heat will keep the enclosed area dry and make a draft which will force humid air out of the safe/cabinet.
  
  I also use Boshield, a lubricant designed for airplane and marine use. It drys to a waxy film and is very durable. Oil will eventually evaporate. I've not had a gun rust where the Boshield was applied.

  Goldenrod is the best way.
  
  I use a cannister of dessicant, which has be dried out in the oven every month or so.
