Selling Guns into Canada?

I would like to know if it is possible to buy a hunting rifle through GunBroker.com and get it shipped into Canada [?] Has anyone sold a hunting rifle into Canada before, and if so was it any problem for the seller or buyer to complete this transaction [?]

  Yes, it's theoretically possible. Unfortunately, the high cost & extensive paperwork make it extremely difficult. One of our forum members said that one of the few exporters charges $200US for his services.
  
  You are probably better off buying in Canada, as few, if any, sellers in the US will be willing to try to export a firearm.
