Value of NWTH 2003 Gun of the Year

I am trying to find out the value of a NWTH 30th Anniversary 2003 Gun of the Year. It is a Collector's Edition Winchester 94-10 Lever Action .410 Shotgun. Never been used, still in the box.
Can anybody help me out?

P.S. And yes, I did win it at a NWTH Fund Raiser Event. That is the National Wild Turkey Federation. (I misspelled and it won't let me correct).

    Winchester said Barrons [sp?] bought them, customized them, and the Turkey Foundation uses them for fund raisers.

    I'd keep the BOX PRISTINE, CORNERS PERFECT, PAPERWORK PERFECT, NO CREASES, "no THUMBING THROUGH", AND OF COURSE, THE GUN NIB UN-FIRED, since you obviously want to sell it. Wait a year.

    A standard .410 is about $600. Yours could be $1450 to $2500, but I'm just guessing.

    There are none for sale right now, yet, so there is nothing to go on. In fact, an old timer at Winchester had not heard of that release. He said special releases usually consisted of 50 or so guns, and "barrons" or someone like them customizes the gun.

    With 2200 on the market, it's collector value will be less than a 50 gun release.

    It would help us to know WHY you want to know.

    If you own this gun, well then, I'd just repeat the advice that Jsergovic gave you. That is, I'd assume that you want to know for insurance purposes, or maybe you plan on using it to pay for your kid's college education someday.

    On the other hand, if you are considering buying this gun, I'd tell you: "RUN!" Special edition guns plummet in value after the initial offering. Who wants one? You can't shoot 'em; then that have a fraction of the perceived value. My observation is that the best that they bring on resale is 10% over the plain version of the gun. (Yes, I know it cost 2 or 3 times as much.) The wealthy Turkey Lovers, or whoever they are, already own THEIR shotguns; none of them is looking to buy one on the resale market.
