magazine clip
Hello every one[:)]
I have been refereed to this forum as I understand that this is
were the experts can be found.[8D]
This is my first post here and I would like to say Hello.
My lovely wife bought me a winchester sport stainless 30-06
for christmas a few years ago. It has an integral magazine built
into the stock. I would like to change it to a removable magazine.
like the remington & ruger has. Perhaps it is not possible, does
any one have any experience with this type of thing.
BTW it is a bolt action rifle.
Any thouhgts...

I would check the Brownell's catalog and see if anyone is making them. I've seen the conversion for the Mauser-based rifles, the floorplate and 5rd fixed mag are replace by a new floorplate and a 3-4rd detachable mag.

Just for a follow up, in case any inquiring minds were looking for
an answer to this topic I posted.
I contacted Brownells gun tech department and they informed me
they were unaware of anyone making a detachable magazine conversion
for the winchester M70.
Thanx for the help..[:)]0
