Steyr Mannlicher

I was thinking about purchasing a 40 cal Steyr Mannlicher Semi Auto and was wanting some feedback to if it is a good self defense gun to own and if its value will holdup for resale down the road?

  Supposed to be good guns, but I believe they have ceased the importation of them. It'll probably make service/parts issues a headache for awhile.

  I have the Steyr S40. It is their compact model. I really enjoy shooting it when I take it to the range. KJ is correct, they have stopped production of the handguns, but luckily I haven't needed any service on the weapon. It is a great little gun for the money.
