I apologize for acting like a smart a$$ toward your legitimate question.

I just have a problem dealing with euphemisms dreamed up by marketing departments. "Tactical" is one of the most mis-used and over-used buzzwords in the firearms industry, and really has no meaning.

Because of the reasons noted by the other guys, a firearm can be used tactically or strategically, depending on who you are busy killing, and why you are killing him/her in that PARTICULAR and specific situation.
