M1A1 MAGS
Im in intrested in knowing if any body has any experience with Western Mags for the M1A1? I am looking into buying some that are selling for 19.99 compared to the 89.00 for GI's. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.

The 30 rd mini 14 ones i have from them are garbage. you get about 25 rounds in them and they self unload full auto. the spring pressure bends up the feed lips and all your ammo is on the ground.

Avoid the Western Mags, get some new USGI 20rd'er at http://cdnninvestments.com/ for $50-$55 depending on whether you want the bag or not[:D]

What the other guys said. I bought a bunch when I bought my M1A. They didn't work or fit good so I sent them back. The new American Rifleman contains an ad for new GI mags at $49.00 or $45.00 if you buy five.
