Whitworth 300 Magnum

I'm curious if anyone is familiar with this rifle. I found some websites that quote the value of this rifle fairly high and wondered if any of the experts on this forum had any personal knowledge of the value of these rifles. I've got a Whitworth 300 WinMag made by Interarms in Manchester, England. It also says Alexandria, Virginia on the rifle as well. The rifle has been in my family for years and I am curious as to the value. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    There is one listed on {elsewhere} at 495.00 buy now.
    The value of any gun is basically whatever someone is willing to pay on any given day. the prices on line are much higher then those listed in the blue book of gun values; so if you really what it then it's worth what you are willing to pay for it. or sell it for.

    What possible reason do you have for reopening a topic that is almost 8 years old? Your setting yourself up to be the classic poster child to demonstrate what a total exercise in futility is.
