Brenneke Slugs
Anyone have any experiences with these through rifled barrels? I know they're supposed to be approved for them....a buddy of mine wants to shoot them this year. Any opinions as far as fouling and accuracy go?

Haven't used rifles barrels for slug-shooting.
But have shot various brands through my Winchester 1500XTR Semi-auto.
Have tried slugs from Federal, RWS/Rottweil Brenneke, Winchester and I believe Sellier&Bellot (might have been buckshots from S&B though).
Only brand I've never had trouble with and that shot consistently was RWS/Rottweil Brenneke.
It might have been the way my shotgun "patterned" with the slugs.
But a little advice would be - try out a few brands, see what your gun loves and take it from there.
It isn't always the high-quality slugs that perform best - it changes a little from gun to gun.
RWS is never a bad choice, as they're generally very high-grade - burns clean and this goes for both slugs and shot-shells.
Don't do anything that I've allready done - That'd be just plain STOOOOOOPID.0 -
I have a H&R slug gun, rifled barrel and i've been shootin them for years and killin deer every year without 1 problem from them. 0
