    I have an old shot I need info on. It is a single shot 12 ga. with the following name on the side. "NEW DUQUESNE" the serial number is 11254. Any info would be a great help thanks.

    are you sure its a single shot? is there a mag down inside the receiver? pull back the bolt. push down on the guide. it may be spring loaded. push. does it go down? most bolt 410s have a 3 round capacity. otherwise, your gun is a common 410 ultility gun. 75.00 to 95.00 dollars value.

    Yes it is definatley a single shot. it still has a lot of personal value. any ideas on age?

    In 1930 Crescent was bought by J. Stevens Arms Co. (which was a division of Savage Arms). It was merged with Davis-Warner Arms Co. and became Crescent-Davis. In 1932 the operation was moved from Norwich, CT, to the Stevens plant in Springfield, MA.

    Stevens continued to make & sell Crescent-Davis brand shotguns until 1941....so, with the Springfield address, your gun was made sometime between 1932 and 1941.
