I found one reference to Eastern Arms Co, but it's quite confusing in that multiple manufactures used that name on there generic "Hardware Guns".
My WAG is that your relatives revolver was made by the Meriden Firearms Company ( subsidiary of Sears, Roebuck ) circa 1905/1915?

check the front sight if it has upswept end (front and rear) it was manufactured by meriden, meriden top break revolvers are not the best quality so be careful if you are considering shooting it.

the eastern arms company is one of the names sears, roebuck & co. sold
