    Is promag a good magazine?

Promags are usually fine. The P225 is a single stack and should have less potential issues than the high caps. P225 mags are still being offered by SIG and should be able to obtained by almost any gunshop.

Gunshops around here, if they have them, usually want about 30 for one mag. I'm just trying not to pay that much. Thanks for the info brotha-

You'll find that Sig factory mags will run at least $30 to almost $50 and the high caps (For the models that were hi cap), will be even more than that. If you want factory mags for the P225, $30 would be a good price. You can try the Pro-Mag ones, they may or may not function as well. The factory ones should keep the gun functioning flawlessly, but they will cost more. I would try one of the Pro-Mag ones and see if they work or not. If they did, then buy more.
