refinishing glock lower

i seem to remember seeing a picture of a glock that had what looked like spray on bed liner stuff on the lower. anybody heard of this?

    I haven't heard of it, but it's intrigueing. I'm not sure of the point however since the polymer is so tough to start with.

    I figured the rubbery texture would make it grip a little better, and i think it comes in different colors. maybe od green with the black slide.

    Grip tape would work just as well, and be a lot cheaper, and not permanent.

    You can buy it from Decal Grip pre-cut for the grip, or you can buy some at a skate board or hardware shop, and put it on yourself. It can be removed, if need be, unlike a spray finish.

    I have never seen a spray finish, altough I have seen some custom painted glock frames. I don't think these had a texture, tough, just paint.

    OK, I guess that makes sense...
    Have you tried a Hogue "Hand-all" on your Glock? I like it for shooting, but it doesn't work the best for CCW use because it keeps your shirt from falling back into place when bending.

    man i was way off. its not sprayed on, it was just retextured. a guy in my unit is a sheriffs deputy and told me they can fill in the area behind the mag well and fill it in with epoxy, then grind the grip down to make the grip smaller. just ordered the hogue sleeve today. just all antsy to pretty up my new pistol.
