Rev-O-Noc .22

My cousin has a REV-O-NOC .22 the only other writing on the gun is 222( possibly a serial #). The gun is only 35" overall, it is a rolling block single shot .22, and might possibly be a boys rifle. I would just like to find out all the info on the gun that I can. I read that Stevens made a gun almost identical. I have learned REV-O-NOC was a trade name for Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett and Company (H.S.B. & Co.), a wholesale hardware dealer. They used the trade name much like Sears used the J.C. Higgins or Ted Williams brand. It might be a Stevens, although there is also a good chance that it was made by Hopkins & Allen.

I also found this on the internet: "Rev-o-Noc" is a brandname used by the Crescent Arms Co prior to W W I. There known for shotguns not .22 rifles. "H. S.B. & Co." was Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Company. Which was a Chicago retailer, jobber, wholesaler etc.

And this: Rev-O-Noc: Trade name used by the H. & 0. Folsom Arms Company on firearms made for the Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett and Company of Chicago


If anyone has any info on the gun or a place that I might check, your help would be greatly appreciated.
