Web gear
I posted this under "General Discussion" and got no responses. Can anyone help me out?
I have several pieces of old military web gear which I'd like to clean and restore. I'll be using for a display.
Any suggestions?

Wash it in regular detergent and scrub with a stiff brush. Rinse well and air dry. If you care to, you can touch up the metal with some Em-Nu or a similar quick drying matte black paint.

I might add: After cleaning with Soap and Water and scrubbing with Bristle Brush....Allow to air dry and then work in Pure Lanolin to give the Fibers new Strength and Life...You can pickup Pure Lanolin at any Health Store...it cost less than $5.00......
