Loading the 45-120

I have acquired a 45-120 rifle and would like to know which loading press will best accomodate the 3 1/4" case. Thank you.

  James, I don't know if it is the BEST press, but a Lyman "Orange Crush" model will work fine; it's strong and relatively inexpensive. It worked great for my 45-110 but you will probably have to partially insert the bullet into the seating die prior to seating it as the heavier bullets will be too long to clear the case and the die.
