Para Ordnance 9mm - Hi caps?
Does anyone know of any hi-cap magazines that will fit a Para 9mm? Since I'm not military or law enforcement and the pistol was made after the ban, I can't locate a mag that will hold more than 10. I was wondering if some other manufacturer made any pre-ban mags that would work. A friend suggested that an STI 38 super mag might work, but wanted some opinions before I spent $80 on one of them to find out it doesn't.

I am not going to say it is the best solution, but the p-16-40 mags will feed 9mm ok. I was messing arround, and found this out first hand. I took a 9x21 barrel a friend had worn out and dropped it in my p-16 frame. Then I loaded my mags with 22 rounds of 9x19 each. I hand cycled all 110 rounds through with no problems. couldn't test fire because of the difference in the rounds but they should function. the start angle of the rounds were a little high, but the lips could be bent if you were so inclined. I decide aginst buying a p-18 because of having to shoot minor in IPSC. There are also 38 super mags out there for the para frame, but are rare as hens teeth. STI mags will not fit and function. there are new STI tubes out there made for the para frame, but to assemble one into a new mag would be against the AWB.
