I have an older savage 30-06 blot action. I have problems with ejecting the spent shell. The bolt jams closed I have to beat it open then the casing will not come out with the extractor. I have to use a "ramrod" to get it out. No cracks in the casing, no maring on the caseing fron the chamber. The extractor is leaving marks where it is trying to pull the caseing. I have been told to clean it and have with a copper brush on the end of a drill(local gunsmith told me to try it) still does it. HELP 0 -
If its used then 250.00 to 325.00 around me. Make sure you get one with the Accu-Trigger. It will make a great gun for you. 0 -
It is 200.00 plus shipping ..Guess its a good deal...
I bet it doesn't have the accu-T though.I have read that the triggers can be adjusted out to about 3# @ the house.0 -
I would buy it for that price. And you can not put a accu-trigger on the older models[xx(]. By the way they are adjustable from 6 pounds to 1.5. 0 -
are the stock triggers o.k for hunting and light target use??
I know I shoot better with a light trigger.0 -
At that price you can put a better trigger on. Check Brownells.

You can modify and adj the stock trigger to do fine. I have mine at a safe, crisp 2.5 lbs.
I paid $195 + shipping for mine so you are in the ball park.
