SKS Paratrooper With DP
Does anyone know if this gun that has DP with other chinese symbols is the model that take AK mags? This SKS has blond furniture and a scope rail, I do not see an import mark on it. If you know anthing please let me know!

The ones I have and the ones I've seen usually say "SKS-M" or "SKS-D" on the side. There was an odd variant that had the side rail at the back of the reciever on the left side. I wasn't aware of any of these being made with the AK-magwell receiver. Do you have more info or more specific questions?

The only markings on this gun is the DP and 5 chinese symbols> The scope rail might be hiding the rest. As I said I see no import mark on the barrel.

None. Looks like I might have to take the scope rail off to see what is under there.

The info should be in front of the scope rail. You might need to take the stock off to find the info if it has one of those thumbhole stocks. Do you have the gun handy?

This is a paratrooper SKS-M, notice the extension on the triggergroup to hold the toggle for the AK mag.
This is a paratrooper SKS (it has a detachable aftermarket mag in it, but the catch is the same) notice that the mag catch is built fairly flush with the triggergroup.

Not at the momment. I saw it at the local gun shop today. I didnt see any other markings and I wanted to ask about it before I bought it. The gun is in 90% range and he wants $190. Just trying to see if its worth that!quote:Originally posted by kingjoey

That's a good price either way, the regular paratroopers go for $200+ and the SKS-M goes for $300+ usually.
