Deutche Werke Werk Erfurt 22 Rifle
I recently bought this gun at an estate auction and I was wondering if anyone out there may know the value of it. It is in good working order. Here is a picture of it, the pocture is large but it make it better to see.

These swinging block European single shots are fairly common and seem to have been made by nearly everybody. They competed with the Flobert system of single shots for the low end market. This type of action is rather weak and should not be used with high speed ammunition, in fact they are probably at their best with the long case C B cap. The stock on your rifle appears to be a piece of birch.
Hope that this has been of some help to you.0 -

Sorry, but it itsn't worth a whole lot, $50 $75 at most. In fact, I have one sitting in my safe, which was very neatly shortened (stock and barrel) by an old friend of my dad's to make a boy'e rifle. As you note, DWM at Erfurt made yours (mine too). Scout is quite right about the action not being very strong. I also think the action, in operation, is easily mishandled. Better than no gun at all.
