    A cautionary note, even though the chambering is for long rifle cartridges, it was meant for standard velocity. About 1929 high velocity ammo came into existance and was too powerful for some guns. Now, of course, there is hyper-velocity. If old guns such as this are shot, the ammo used should be BB cap or CB cap, or some other low powered round.

    As to the age of the Little Scout, a guess would be about 1915-25. Value, about $150-200
