  More info is needed to answer your question. First, how much nickel plating is on your gun, next, are you sure it's the orig. finish, not re-plated. Next, the condition inside and out, barrel length, and serial number range. Seems like if I remember correctly, there are at least five different issues of those New Departures. Someone more knowledgable than myself will probably answer you further.
