Remington 870TB

I recently acquired a Remington 870TB Wingmaster. The gun has 4 interchangable barrels of various chokes. One barrel labeled "skeet" has a wider portion near the end which is ventilated. There are 6 inserts that screw into the end of this ventilated portion. They are all labeled "Lyman" and have various choke designations. Three are short (1") and 3 are long (21/2-3"). Any and all information would be appreciated. References I could research on my own also would be helpful. Ideas on value?

  The device with the changeable chokes is a Cutts Compensator. The TB trap was made from 1950 to 1981. There is a lettered date code on the original barrel whichever one that is. My guess on value is about $400 for the original gun and $100 apiece for the three extra barrels. It should be a 12 gauge and have really nice wood. It doesn't matter what you paid,it is a really nice gun to be used and enjoyed for generations.

  Your 870 TB is the best for the money on the trap range, dont know why they are so cheap, their an Excelent shot gun.
