QD Stud For M1A1 National Match

I want to attach a Harris Bipod to my M1A1 but I'm told I need a QD Stud. What is it? Where do I find one?

  Check out Natchez Shooters Supplies, www.natchezss.com. I believe that they carry Uncle Mike's products; if he doesn't make it, it's unlikely anyone does.

  IF YOU ATTATCH A QD STUD TO YOUR M1A YOU WILL HAVE TO DRILL A HOLE IN THE FOREARM,
  . I WOULD NOT DO THAT FOR IT WILL TAKE AWAY FROM IT'S VALUE.
  I PURCHASED A VERSA-POD PIPOD. YOU HAVE TO BUY AN M1A ADAPTOR WITH IT.
  YOU REPLACE THE ORIGINAL GAS PLUG WITH THERE ADAPTER AND IT SNAPS ON
  THATS IT.
