Walther P99 Trigger

I just bought a new P99. It appears that, starting with a full clip, every successive shot requires a increased length of pull on the trigger. Is there a problem with th piece, am I crazy, or both?

    Yes, both!! The tri-action trigger on the standard P99 takes a lot of getting used to. The way the trigger resets to the forward most position and then breaks cleanly back to a normal SA trigger is disconcerting. If you position you trigger finger on the back side of the 'hump' on the trigger guard it will not reset to the forward most position. I can think of no mechanical reason that the trigger pull lenth would increase with each shot. If it does you certainly have an unusal problem.
