Trade value of .308 Ishapore Enfield Carbine?

Hey folks. I have an Ishapore manufactured .308 Carbine. The stock has been refinished at some point and "sporterized" as well. Do any of you folks have any idea on the trade value of the gun?

  I'd say around $150.00...You can check with J&G Gun Sales in Prescott, Arizona for current Prices...J&G has a Web Site....

  I know where there i one for $125 with a synthetic stock now. hope this helps

  Trade value with one dealer and trade value with another will most likely be different. Depending on how much a dealer has his product marked up will depend on how much he will allow you in trade. No matter what a dealer says he is allowing you in trade, the important number is the difference between your gun and his (the bottom line). Some dealers can make you think you are getting a good trade-in price, but they are doing it by marking their product high.
  
  Another factor in trading is how your rifle "fits" in a dealer's inventory. For example: if a dealer specializes in high-dollar over and under shotguns, your Enfield rifle may not be a good seller for him. So naturally he will offer less.
  
  On the other hand, if a dealer specializes in military rifles, your Enfield may be one of his hot sellers. So he will have a much better appreciation and will offer more.

  Well if it is sporterized, resale value, in my opinion, is about $60, considering they can be had new for about twice that. Unless I'm missing something; I haven't seen a 'carbine'... are we talking about the standard 2A and 2A1 series here? So trade value might be a little more or less.
