removing sight?

    these are silver soldered on, takes a dull red heat to remove. this will ruin blueing and leave scale in the bore if not protected.

    BOBBYWINS- good ? - i want to remove a 7.5" barrel & replace it with a 5.5" on my RSB & i need the sight as the shorter barrel has none- it's either that or cut the barrel on it now ( i have a freind that can recrown ) but still have to remove & replace sight - thanks for interest, you have replyed to alot of my questions

    I'D SUGGEST USEING A DIFFERENT FRON SIGHT RAMP (WILLIAMS SHORTY?), DRILL AND TAP AND SOFT SOLDER THE RAMP ON THEN YOU CAN TRY DIFFERENT FRONT SIGHT BLADES.
