SKS scope rail
I have an SKS with a thin rail factory riveted on the left rear receiver. I was wanting to know what kind of mount fits these and if the AK 47 scope mount will work on these? And if the AK mount does not work were can I get the correct mount for this rail? Thanks for any information I can get about this. My email is MatthewSmith@peoplepc.com

I have no idea where to get one of these but I had a customer trade me the mount that clamps on to that a couple of years ago. He said it came off an sks. The mount had a quick release latch on the side so it could easily be taken off for close in combat. It had a weird looking scope attached to it and came in a small box with a sling attached to it. The box had a red star on the top of it. I don't want to get rid of this but might be interested in that receiver of yours. I would be willing to trade you a sks receiver with a scope mount on top and a set of rings for it.

The stock is notched for the rail and the rail is riveted to the side of the receiver so I would be messing up the rifle by removeing the rail. 0
