Stainless Steel Accuracy?
I tried posting this question under someone elses post with no luck, so here it goes again...I have read on here multiple times that a SS barrel is not as accurate. This being said, why would a company like model1 sales offer varmint rifle kits for the ar15 only in stainless? Is the stainless really that much of a factor, or is it a technicality that is exagerated? Thanks

Stainless steel makes the most accurate barrels. What you have read is wrong.

So accuracy accounts on the stainless is false? What about chrome lined barrels? 0 -
benchrest shooters have found over the years that there is little differnce in the accuracy of a stainless barrel over blued. most use the stainless barrels in benchrest because they tend not to get shot out as quickly as blued barrels 0 -

Chrome lined barrels are generally less acurate.
