    I found I was far more accurate with the 2 3/4 .The recoil from the 3 inch was a bit much for me.I have used slugs out past 100 yards with excellent results.

    thanks for the info-I was just thinking of stopping power.
    I can see the extended range the 3 " gives you .

    i think its only like a 100 foot punds of energy difference between the 2. just look on the bakc of a remington slug box and that will tell you the differece. I know the first 3 shells in my gun are 2.75 and the other 2 are 3 inch
