enfield??

I have an 1917 No 1 Mk III enfield. The question I have is, all pics of the 1917 they have a round rec. and mine is a hex. Any difference in price or is the hex more of or less of a collector?

  ok it's not a true hex but it is flat on the top of the rec.

  I have several of these, and they all have the flat on top of the receiver. Also, in a collector-type book I see no photo that show completely round receivers. The British seemed fond of stamping interesting marks on this area. I believe that all Lee Enfields of this model have the flat.
