Daewoo DP-51 any good?

I am up in Vancouver, BC on vacation and headed to Idaho so my personal DP-51 is back home in one of the vaults. I've owned an example for several years and like it quite a bit. The so called "tri-action" tigger takes some getting used to but it does have some merit in offering a very fast action when set. I have small hands and the pistol fits me very well and is easy to handle and comes equiped with decent sights- large with white dots. Besides the tri-action feature the DP-51 is pretty conventional and take down is the typical Hi Power pattern. I think at the moment dealer prices on these run around $275 so you can use this to judge the retail value. That price is with a 10 shot magazine. I really have no idea whet the DP-51 hicaps sell for but there should be a premium involved here for two magazines. Until I get back home in 10 more days I can't be more specific since I'd need to handle the pistol. I wish I could help you more but the logistics for this are impossible from Vancouver!

My son has one and it is a very pleasant shooter - fills his (and my) hand very well (both on the small side), reliable, accurate (never bench tested, but all in the black at 15 yds), light enough to carry.

He has hi-caps so extra few rounds are available if needed (some, not all S&W59 series mags will work. Factory mags sometimes pop up here on GB starting at ~$20).

    I considerate it a bargain ($250 -$325), but I'm saving my lunch money for a DH40
