1100 Remington
I have an 1100 remington 12 ga. Is the ejector built on the barrell and can it be replaced ?

I have a 1100 that is a 3in mag this gun will not eject the shells espesially steel I've welded a bead on the ejector and dressed it down I do have some high powered lead this gun will function with has anyone ever shortened the spring in the stock of the gun to make this gun operate with lighter loads or is this possible? 0 -
I don't recall for certian, but I'm almost positive it is part of the bolt.

IT'S STAKED INTO THE REAR OF THE BARREL. IT TAKES SPECIAL TOOLS TO DO IT RIGHT. YOU CAN GET THEM FROM BROWNELL'S BUT I'D HAVE REMINGTON OR A GUNSMITH DO IT FOR YOU.IT'S CHEAPER THAN A NEW BARREL. 0
