Gents can someone tell me what kind of lic. one
would need to buy a Mark V1 .455 Webly hand gun
will a C & R do...? its Patent date is 1918
i suspect it was made before 1934 has a ser.#
of 33XXXX thanks Rich G....

  Not familiar with whether or not this gun is on the BATF C&R Listing, but you can check their website to find if it is, (isn't), but then again, just buy it and do a transfer if unable to determine it and you want the gun NOW!

  Thanks Guys,in a resent e-mail i was told it falls under the 50year rule, depending on each state law "in most cases" a C & R will work
  actually i'm the seller an wanted to know before i made an error ... thanks again Rich G..

  The W&S MK VI revolver was made BY WEBLEY through World War I. The "1918" date is almost certainly date of manufacture.
  
  But . . .
  
  Enfield Lock continued manufacture of the W&S MK VI -- this is a government manufacturing plant, not a private one -- through 1926.
