94 winchester takedown

I have a model 94, take down, 30 WCF, with 3 pre set rear sights.
The ser # is LO 9214 can anyone tell me much about this rifle and what it is worth.thanks

  What it appears that you have, is a special order Model "1894" Rifle with a serial number that is actually "109214", and as such, it was made in 1897... making it a true "antique" per Federal law.
  
  The numeral "1" on roll die that Winchester used for the serial number at the time your Rifle was made looks an awful lot like an "L", and it often confuses many people. The upper tang should be marked as follows;
  
  MODEL 1894
  - WINCHESTER -
  PAT. AUG. 21. 1894
  
  Value is primarily based on the graded condition (which you did not mention), but your Rifle's value will likely start out at a minimum of $1,000 (unless it is an absolute beater). The fact that is pre-1899 made Model 1894 adds a sizeable premium to the value, as does the fact that it has at least two special order features (Takedown, and the Winchester Express rear sight). Does the rear sight have the vertical platinum lines on it? Does it have any other special order options? What is the barrel length (it should be 26" if standard)? Barrel shape (should be octagon)? Pistol grip buttstock or straight grip? Checkered stocks pehaps? Butt plate style? Blued frame? Set trigger?
  
  Exact details are needed to even try a WAG on the value, and even then, it would be nothing more than a rough estimate. You should also strongly consider getting a factory letter for it from the Cody Firearms Museum.
