1917 DWM Luger 9mm
I'm not a collector so don't know what it's worth.!! Here goes.!! It's a model 1917 luger, cal 9mm with the DWM logo, all numbers match, including the magazine, the holster is stamped 1937 berlin ( mfg by..GENCHOW AB & CO BERLIN with an eagle & Wa A387 underneath it.The tool is also in there. I would say it's in excellent cond in and out. I've owned it since 1968 and only fired it once when i first got it. It has been well taken care of over the years and shows very little signs of ware. No pitting in the bore and no rust, blueing about 95% of original. . The grip's have the same serial # as the gun & it has an Eagle stamped on the loading tool with the # 63.! I have taken several pix of it and can furnish them on request.! The gun will go up for sale as soon as i know what kind of price to put on it. I'd also like to thank those of you who supplied me with info on what to look for.!!! Again thank's..!!

The nicest feature about listing a gun for sale on the Gunbroker auction site is that you don't need to know the value; the market will do that for you. Just list it at a reasonable starting price, & it should take off from there.
Just be sure that your photos are close & sharp, and that your description is complete & accurate. And, "excellent condition" doesn't tell me much; it would be better to say something like "94-95% of original finish".

nmeyers is correct on this. Unfortunately, right now the market belongs to the buyers if you are trying to sell one.
The Luger is from WWI, your holster from from the Nazi era. Usually this just means that the Germans used it in both wars. The pre-WWII era Lugers don't seem to generate the interest that the later ones do.
Unless you just want to get rid of it, to realize a better market you might want to wait awhile to sell it.

I have just about the same you do, but mine is 1916 DWM... personally I would start it at $500 and expect to get just under a thousand for it. might go a bit higher.
