IMHO, you should expect to get between $1,000 - $1,400 for it; perhaps more. Check out this site:

The nicest feature about listing a gun for sale on the Gunbroker auction site is that you don't need to know the value; the market will do that for you. Just list it at a reasonable starting price, & it should take off from there.

Just be sure that your photos are close & sharp, and that your description is complete & accurate. And, "excellent condition" doesn't tell me much; it would be better to say something like "94-95% of original finish".

My suggestion to you is to contact our resident Luger Expert, Ralph Shattuck, He's the Author of -WORLD of LUGERS-, and is a member of this Forum. He's always willing to help a member in evaluating a Luger

nmeyers is correct on this. Unfortunately, right now the market belongs to the buyers if you are trying to sell one.

The Luger is from WWI, your holster from from the Nazi era. Usually this just means that the Germans used it in both wars. The pre-WWII era Lugers don't seem to generate the interest that the later ones do.

Unless you just want to get rid of it, to realize a better market you might want to wait awhile to sell it.

I have just about the same you do, but mine is 1916 DWM... personally I would start it at $500 and expect to get just under a thousand for it. might go a bit higher.
