Glock vs Steel & Walnut

After reading the article by Teledective on the breakdown of a Glock and all the responses, I had to add my 20 cents! During a recent round of qualification at the police range, I saw no Glocks jam or break. When the Kimbers (aka, steel and walnut) came to the line, they jammed, locked up tighter than a tick, parts broke, etc. I realize that any firearm is subject to failure at sometime, but the best place to find these is on the range, not the street or in protection of your life. Sometimes people should really run those weapons through a rapid fire drill with their carry ammo and magazines.

    I've never had a single malfuntion with my Glock 10mm (I bought it new in '93 or '94). I haven't had a malfuntion with my Kimber 10mm either, but I just bought it a month or two ago.
    I'll carry the Glock for CCW use when possible...
