HELP!!!!!
I bought a Rexio RC-22 a few months back from SOMEONE on GunBroker.com. It was sold to me as NIB. Since i've had it i've only been able to fire a handfull of rounds through it. Now, understanding that Rexio isnt the greatest quality AND that they're out of business, i'm in need of a firing pin because it appears to not strike deep enough into the rim or shell casing. How can I go about getting another firing pin. (thinking this is going to be impossible but....) Does the Rexio RC-22 have the same firing pin as the Super Comanche 45LC/.410?? ANY help or advise for me....other than DONT BY CHEAP S@#$ at auction??

I have not worked on your exact model. Is your firing pin frame or hammer mounted? I own[:(]a Rexio Pucara revolver which is a blue .22 with a 6" barrel. It has a frame mounted firing pin, and if that's what you've got, any good gunsmith should be able to make one that is just a little longer. You are correct that these are cheap guns, and if Rexio has gone out of business it is well-deserved. You might get a firing pin from Numrich Gun Parts Corp. as a non-cataloged item. 0 -
Well, lets see here.....its not hammer mounted. I get to the firing pin by taking it apart, all I have to do is take the barrel off, (almost like taking apart a new england arms shot gun apart) and with some either needle nose pliers or hemastats and turn a screw totally out. The firing pin basically can fall out of the gun from there, surrounded by a small spring. (i'm really at a loss for a better description than that, sorry)

Does this Gun have a COLLER SCREW?...If Its not tight against the Shoulder, the Firing Pin will not have the Full Force of the Hammer Strike.......

What ever it is, its always flush with the rest of the gun, with no more room to move. I've had several people look at it, and they all agree its all in the firing pin. Its just short on both sides. (pin and "striked side") Like I said, I supposively bought this NIB, but i'm definately not sure of that AT ALL either. I might be able to get some dig. pics. for better descriptions. I guess live and learn, but i'm gonna get this working. (determination)

This may not apply but add it to your checklist. I bought a Turkish Mauser a couple of years back and it had the same problem. The shell wouldn't fire and the primer would only have a light indent where the firing pin struck it. Turns out the firing pin spring had weakened over the years and wouldn't allow it to strike the primer properly. Bought a new one at Wolff springs and it works great since. Mike 0 -
Thanks Mike, thats a good idea. Plus, it could be fairly cheap. I'll try that one first, then i'm thinking about having one machined. Still looking for more advise out there.........(but thanks to the others!!)

Oh-it's a long arm. O.K.--well, once you get the firing pin out, which it seems you have done, just make a longer one. I'll bet you could make a serviceable one out of a nail. 0 -
No, its a 22lr handgun. It does have a spring surrounding the firing pin though. (something I've not seen before in a handgun) i'm going to call wolff springs tommorrow though and see what I can do.

I called Numrich Gun Parts Corp and placed an order for that firing pin.....got the e-mail today that they dont even have one. (which sucks, there about the biggest "parts store" in the US.) Any one with another idea??
