  Proofs will tell the story. My guess is Spanish or Italian, but who knows? Depending on age you'll find the country of origin stamped somewhere on the receiver or barrel.
  
  The gun will be considered a shooter. Perhaps even a quality shooter, but nothing more. And so it goes with most imports.
  
  One thing of note... Should the gun be German or British, then the value will increase somewhat. Still a shooter, though.
