What's the Difference?
I got asked this question a little while ago, and I couldn't answer. I should have been able to, but I don't deal with " little ammo " very much. Here you go...It might be a stupid question, but....
" What is the difference between .38 and .380 ammo? "
I *THINK* the difference would be that one is shaped to function in semi-automatics, while the other is revolver-only. But I don't
*KNOW*. You guys have to set me straight!

What's the difference - if any - between chamfering and recessing the charge holes in a revolver's cylinder?
Adavantages or disadvantages?
Thanks all for your replies, and Happy New Year!
Edit: Outstanding pictures iceracer! Thanks.0 -
The 62A is just a modernized 1906. They both shoot 22S,L,Lr's interchangeably. A 62A in good shooting shape will probably be easier for you to find. A decent 62A will run you $300.00-$400.00. If you are just looking for a shooter, Rossi and Taurus have made reproductions of these fine old Winchesters that can be found in the $200.00 range. "But that's kinda like kissin your sister"
The model 1890 Winchester is a very similiar rifle except they are chambered for only one 22 caliber. Either 22S, 22L, WRF, and a few were made in 22LR. They quit making the 1890s and the 1906s in the late 1930s so it's very hard to determine condition without a hands on inspection.
