info on Murata shotgun

can someone help with info on my shotgun which appears to be a converted 1887 pattern Japanese Murata army rifle of pattern 13, single shot 11 m.m. It is now, I believe a 24 gauge. am interested in stock logo. it has evedintely been restocked for a woman or child as arm reach is very short. NRA helpful but could not decipher stock logo. any idea of value? thanks for help.

  There were a number of conversions from the infantry rifles to shotguns, but actually most were new made as they are not interchangeable on bolts.
  
  Most exported went to Japanese settlers in South America in the late 1800's, early 1900's. Some to the American west.
  
  As far as "logo", you might go to www.gunboards.com and find "Arms of the Rising Sun" and put forth your question. As these were not military, I am not that well versed in them.
