    There were a number of conversions from the infantry rifles to shotguns, but actually most were new made as they are not interchangeable on bolts.

    Most exported went to Japanese settlers in South America in the late 1800's, early 1900's. Some to the American west.

    As far as "logo", you might go to www.gunboards.com and find "Arms of the Rising Sun" and put forth your question. As these were not military, I am not that well versed in them.
