CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO POST A PICTURE? PLEASE? Without the picture, my request for info is kind of useless....

OK, I saw this at a garage sale the other day. WTH? I looks to be a palm gun of sorts....? The end screws off and it looks like you insert a single round in it, possibly a .32? Then with the black knob in your palm, you compress it and it would appear to fire at that point. I advised the guy to put it away, and let me find out what I can about it. So how about it? Does anyone have a clue? Is it legal? Should I forget that I saw it? Should I buy it?

  i am seeking information on a break open, single shot 12 gauge. it says "victor plain" "american gun co. new york" on its right side and "genuine armory steel" on the top of the barrel. any knowledge anyone could provide would be much appreciated. thankyou!

  It is probably chambered for .32SW and you are trying to chamber .32SW Long or .32 ACP.

  It's a sure bet that it's chambered for .32 S&W. I have several H&R's and Iver Johnsons similar to yours, and .32 S&W and .38 S&W are the most encountered calibers.

  claire,
  the young america bull dog is chambered for the .32 rimfire short only. it was manufactured between 1895 and 1930. it is a variation of the young america double action which h&r manufactured between 1884 and 1941.
  
  your revolver with the company name on the barrel is considered a second model manufactured 1905 and after. the first model manufactured before 1905 was manufactured for black powder cartridge pressures while the second model was manufactured for smokeless powder cartridge pressures.
  
  if you can find some 32 rimfire short ammunition and your young america bull dog is in good condition it would be considered safe to shoot.
  
  the finish is nickel which was the standard finish on this model and the barrel length should be 2 inches.
