Reloading powder question?

Which handgun (45 cal.) reloading powder burns the cleanest, most smoke free?

We have had a flashlight stage where you have to wait for the smoke to clear, so that you can see the targets.

Thanks in advance, in case it gets locked.

The gene pool needs chlorine.

  I always had good luck with the Accurate Arms Powders, in regard to their clean burning, low flash qualities. Numbers #2 & #5 would be the two you would be probably be useing for loading the .45 acp.
  Another factor you might consider regarding the "smoke" produced by reloads is the type of grease or lubricant used on cast bullets, this always seemed to be a negative factor to me.
  At one time when I use to reload with Unique and cast bullets, it seemed as it almost created a fog in a indoor range.
  Since I been using Rainer TMJ's and Accurate Arms Powders, things have got a lot better.

  If you must use lead for your shooting,mayby the moly coated oneds like BEar Creek makes would smoke less.The lube is often more the culprit than the powder.

  The old classic for the 45 is unique. I have found that it is more than a little dirty and have switched to ASA #5 for clean burning.

  Have always had good luck with Bullseye in the 45 and 38 Super!

  I have had better luck with Titegroup than with Bullseye in 45 Colt.
