Need some help on this one. After many years of looking, I have finally aquired a Waffenfabrik Kornbusch Gewehr. My only reference is a passing nod in Olsens MAUSER BOLT RIFLES.

I know Kornbusch was a subsidary of DWM and made the smallest number of G98's of any producer making it the rarest of the WWI 98's.
I did the Google search and read all English and German text to no avail.

I'm looking for production figures, probable points of issue, and units issued to.

Has anyone come across a reference that contains the information?

  Unfortunately, my meager collection of information doesn't relate to military Mauser but rather, the sporting firearms. Here, though, is a resource that you might be able to use:

  Scroll through the list and find the catagory for Harley Nolden. Here is a quote from a description of what he does:
  
  Historical information, assem/disaseem instructions, dimensional data from books I have collected over the years. Mostly from older books and guns. I have transferred the information from these books to CD Rom, and when asked, the information is researched, and if I have it, sent by email at no charge to the requester. In particular WWI & WWII guns, and old Double bbl shotguns. In addition the hardware guns and cross over lists.
