Anyone know the value of a new in the box Remington 541-x US marked 22 bolt action rifle. Bought from CMP 4 years ago, still in original box unfired.

  I would expect it to sell in the $300-350 range.
  
  The prices currently asked don't reflect reality, but, rather, the prices shown in Fjestad's Blue Book from several years ago (before several hundred 541x's were sold by CMP.)

  A guy I know in California has been buying them up whenever he can find one. He uses them to support youth shooting programs out there. For new in the box he has paid anywhere from $475 to $575 for them so I'd bet that Henry O'Reilly's is a little more accurate than nmyers this time. The NIB condition does add to its value as well as the CMP pedigree. I wouldn't sell one for less than $500 and I wouldn't pay more than $550. Beach
