Remington Factory Records

I heard recently that Remington "discovered" that they had old factory records that for years they claimed never existed. Anyone
know more about this?

  The only records that Remington released-that I am aware of are on the
  Remington manufactured Parker shotguns. The Parker Gun Collectors made copies of these records. Do a google for their site. 101
