I have picked up a 40 cal with the wonder finish need to know how to break down and what to wipe it down with . will rem oil be ok on this finish. thanks for your responses. [8]

Check on the left side you will see a dot on the frame. Look on the slide on the left side and you will also see a dot. Align the dots and push the slide open pin out and the gun will come apart. To put it back together do it in reverse. Oil will be ok but you don't want to leave Hoppes no 9 on it too long. If you can use g96 and you won't have any problems. Congrats on your new addition to the family. I also have a 40 cal in wonder finish. You will be very very happy. ahh the witness mine is a compact 9mm 13rnds a little heavy but very nicely finished in blue...had some trouble at first mag related..we shall see how she flies.. 0 -
Fine gun, mags for the baby eagle 41AE will also fit.
