AMT Backup .45 <-----???

Hello, I recently purchased an AMT Backup .45 from a friend, (who never shot, nor dissasembled it) and before I shoot it, I want to remove the excess "pocket lint" from the slide...

anyway..

how do I dissasemble it? [?]

Ive only seen the manual for the .380 version and I dont think they are similar (the .380 has a different slide look)

I cant seem to find the manual for the .45 version online at all... (except for the few people who feel the need to charge for free information)

If anyone can help me find a manual or help me dissasemble it, I have 100's of gun manuals that I can send to you on cd.

I appritiate any help, so thanks to everyone here in advance!

    Jason, your AMT dissasembles like a Colt 45. Take out the magazine and pull the slide back to line up the cut out on the slide with the takedown pin on the frame. Push the takedown pin out to the left.

    Is the takedown pin the large pin in the center of the frame or the small pin in the rear of the slide??

    I was finally able to dissasemble the slide, but I'm having a heck of a time getting the pin back in.
