.22 rifle called "Tradewinds"

Does anybody have any information on a .22 semi-auto called Tradewinds. My friend is looking for a clip for his. It is an old German rifle I believe. I am trying to find somebody who may have a clip for sale as his is lost, Thanks. Please email me at future11@erols.com with any information.

  Tradwinds was an importer located in Tacoma Washington. I believe they were in business from the 60's to the 80's.
  Your best bet for locating a magazine for your friends rifle is to try and figure out who the original manufacter was.
  I have a reference that notes that Tradwinds imported Krico rifles from Germany.
  Krico DID make a clip fed .22 autoloder known as the Model 260 or 260EA. "IF" this is the rifle your friend has it might make it a little easier to obtain the magazine by referenceing the Krico name and model number.

  The "Tradewinds" .22 autoloader was the model 260-A. It used a 5 rd magazine, has a 22.5" barrel.
  I wish you luck in finding a Mag.

  You might contact BEEMAN PRECISION ARMS COMPANY, INC., SANTA ROSA, CALIFORNIA...They are or were the Sole Importers of KRICO Rifles..
  I was looking up something on Tradewinds last week and if memory serves My database shows TRADEWINDS as being an Importer for HUSQVARNA...and several other European Gunmakers..But find No mention of a Model 260-A .22 Caliber Rifle...It'll be interesting to see what the final results will be on this Rifle....If BEEMAN's can't help You....You might contact Husqvarna USA and do a cross check.........I'm in Baja, California, de Mexico, this Morning...and 1200 miles away from My desk...so I can't be of to much help...I wish You Well.....
